DESIGNED FOR ALL MOUNTAIN FREEDOM AND PLAY!

This is our allmountain workhorse ready to give any skier a good time regardless of the conditions! When we constructed RAKKAR we had one goal in mind – to give all skiers a fantastic day – and we think we succeeded!

The RAKKAR is constructed for ripping the corduroy, full speed at your local jump-spot or the best day ever in powder. A 107mm waist, traditional camber, responsive bamboo/poplar-core and generous rocker and taper in tip and tail make this ski our most versatile plank ever.

This is the ski you need for your everyday riding in order to keep a big grin on your face regardless of conditions!

FREESTYLE TAIL

The freestyle tail is suitable for allround skiing from piste to deep snow. A twintip design makes it extremely playful and suitable for switch landings.

Camber underfoot

A traditional cambered design gives you stability and versatility on any condition. On hardpack a camber design is unmatched.

FREESTYLE tip

An allround shape and design spiced with features like butter zone for added playfulness and TPU-damping to reduce vibrations. Any terrain - every day!

POPLAR AND BAMBOO

Poplar is a lightweight wood material, while bamboo is a strong, responsive and bouncy wood. Combined it’s a lightweight, responsive and fun core.

SCRATCH FREE TOPSHEET

Our scratch free top sheet is developed to endure the abuse your skis go through. Its pattern is design to not collect snow while touring, reducing the weight on each foot.

P-TEX BASE - POWDER

The ski has a durable P-tex 5920 base. On our touring skis the base is ground for all conditions, but will excel on dry snow, typically found mid winter.

SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION

A sandwich construction delivers uncompromised power transmission and exceptional torsional stiffness in a durable long lasting package.

GRAPHICS BY RIKKE WESTVIG

The inspiration for RAKKAR is drawn from those dark, almost magical winter nights when the snow absorbs every sound and covers every rock and root under a heavy silver blanket. Cutting through the darkness, sharp white lights from several headlamps, followed by silver mist and big smiles. Silence, silver, snow. Everyone loves nightskiing in Sogn.

Really the only ski I need. Ready to shred the freshies when the lifts open, and after lunch when it is time to hit up the park there is no need to change for another pair.

DISCOUNTED PRICES ON PACKAGE DEALS

Together with Intersport Sogndal we have carefully curated a setup consisting of boots and bindings that work perfectly with our skis.

Mounting directions:

The mounting point is marked on the top-sheet of the ski. The line marks our recommended placement of the boot-centre and is a result of hours of testing and calculations. Different skiers have different preferences when it comes to binding placement, so even though our recommendation for most skiers will give the optimal skiing experience, some skiers might want to shift the mounting a little bit forward or backward.
